«No man is an island, complete in himself». So wrote the English poet John Donne in his collection entitled Devotions for Occasions of Emergency in 1624. The emergency that had struck Donne was a sudden and serious illness that almost led to his death. Even today we live in a time of emergency and we at HOPE believe that we need to work together to address the difficulties that particularly affect fragile and vulnerable people. We are looking for associations and non-profit organisations that wish to work, in an active and collaborative manner and in an intersectional perspective, to design and implement projects that address the health, work and housing emergency of the weakest.
